The International Tango Festival of Sitges this year celebrates its nineteenth edition, and has
become Europe's oldest and most cosmopolitan. There enrolled 56
different nationalities. Its programming is divided into three main: Dance classes
for all levels, the different shows, and dance evenings are organized
at different points and times during the 5 day festival. This year there will also be
photo exhibition.
Activity Highlights:
DANCE CLASSES
There will be classes for all levels: Initiation, medium, medium - advanced, advanced and professional.
There is opportunity to buy a credit for a course and pass a course + milongas.
DANCE NIGHTS
The Gardens of Earthsea as a stage to host dance nights, is one of
novelties of this year.
Of 18 to the 22 July, in the Gardens of Earthsea.
Every night of the 23.00 to 02.00 hours, excepto el vihours 20 until 02.30 and Saturday 21 July which will last until 03.30 hours.
TANGO- BEACH
Of 19 to the 22 July, San Sebastian Beach On sand milonga. On Sunday 22 July as free Sangria tasting finale.
Free activity.
DAWN MILONGA
Every morning, in the Paseo de la Ribera (Spain street level) Traditional dance to accompany the sunrise. Free activity for participants of the festival. From the time of closing the main milonga until 08.00 hours.
CENTRAL TANGO SHOW WITH THE STARS
Saturday 21 July, Terramar in the Gardens Festival Grand Central show, theatrical format, the presence of the Orchestra Ensemble Hyperion and all teachers of dance Festival. Special price for subscribers to the festival. Among the 22.00 and 23.40 hours.
TOUR AND MILONGA
Monday 23 July, Departure from Sitges to 18.00 hours
Visit one of the wineries in the Alt Penedès, tasting wines and champagnes. At dusk a milonga dance in the vineyards with DJ Toni Barber.
PHOTO EXHIBITION
Of 16 to the 22 July, Hall of Boats Palau Maricel Argentina, late con vos /beats with you. Exhibition of photographs of Argentina organized by the National Institute of Tourism Ministry of Tourism of Argentina.
